This gym shit is fucking demotivating when you have bad muscle building genes. I'm gaining weight, up about 20 pounds from when I started last year but my upper body has put on hardly any noticeable size. I've failed to increase my bench like 3 weeks in a row now. I'm starting to get too fat and need to start cutting before I start hating myself but that means no gains for 2-3 months and my arms are still fucking sticks.
Why shouldn't I just roid? This shit is boring and taking forever and I'm already 24. Every single week all I have to look forward is maybe adding 1 rep to my lifts, when I fail on a set I gotta wait another full fuckin week to try and PR again but even if I do I see no changes in the mirror. How do people dedicate years of their lives to this. I only go 3x a week (full body) and I'm already burnt out
