Why some chads always talk about the importance of confindece

You would assume there are self aware about their looks right.
But the thing is if you grew up wih that face and you see it every day for years it looks ordinary to you. Its nothing special to them like it would be to somebody who sees it for the first time on the street.
Also you only see it through your own eyes, you dont have the objective perspective of the observer. We are generally more criticial towards ourself than others.
You can see this with gandy who beliefs himself to be flawed. They have these complexes that everybody else has aswell.
Of course not all are like this, there are some narcy ones on tik tok where you can clearly see they are in love with themselves.

My brother who is like chadlite/ irl chad
still dont really believes he is good looking despite positve feedback all his life.
Because of this i think he cant really max out his potential.
Its literally how you see yourself that has the most impact even when you are good looking.

Confidence does indeed matter once you’re good looking enough and studies show that your theory is correct to some extent, people who are very attractive have a tendency to underestimate their own attractiveness
