Nationality and ethnicity are not the same. Certain disporas no matter how integrated they become will always be viewed and seen as outsiders. It depends on phenotype and the political climate at that time once upon a time Irish and Italian Americans were also ostracized, were hated by people and given the otherworldly treatment

but in general it's a lot easier for certain groups to identify as their countries of birth because they are more readily accepted. Think of Mikael a Swedishcel with a thick Swedish accent who moved over from stockholm to settle in Minnesota suburbs working some typical blue collar job will be considered 10x more American than Rajesh an Indian Origin American who was born and raised in LA, has all white friends went to target school has a tech job but will still be treated as an outsider..

East Asian immigrants in the 1970s were seen as perpetual foreigners despite being second generation Americans while white European immigrants were accepted with open arms and even here there was discrimination were slavs were given the boot. This isn't a American thing either. In Germany Turkish immigrants have been living there for decades, but get treated as Talahons..

Some of this boils down to perceived default identity in a society. People unconsciously associate being American German or Swedish with European features accents or cultural markers. That's why no matter how integrated or native someone is they still be treated as an outsider if they don't fit those markers.Certain things are just the way they are and can't be changed. They are out of your control. Even after my H1B application goes through even if I somehow do get a green card I am fully aware that I'll not be seen as anyone but an outsider in this lifetime.

That said, communities, culture, and self identification do matter and over time perceptions can and do shift just look at how Irish, Italian, Blacks and Jewish Americans went from being marginalized to fully part of the mainstream. It is what it is in the end.

thatโ€™s cultural identity people can still say theyโ€™re Irish or Italian but a century ago they were treated as outsiders. Perception changes over time not identity.

If immigration stopped, or slowed down by a lot, we could get the perceptions to shift (takes time, and assimilation, and only speaking for the USA) and stabilize our ethnographic composition (or have a white rebound to like ~70-80% if you deport freshies and second gens that never properly integrated for whatever reason or are treasonous hostiles, like prioritizing your country of ethnicity over your own country; a us that has that happen probably will also see a baby boom that is going to be disproportionately white (Germanic white) imo)
Blacks are definitely not seen as americans period
Nonsense. That shouldnโ€™t be a debate.

Not true. Blacks are seen as Americans. Many have deep roots going back centuries including in the South. US has literally had a black president

You just have a distaste for blacks (we can make it illegal and hard to commit the kind of parasitism we see within their groups and it is fixable once we exterminate leftist ideology, since a lot of it is just leftist coddling with welfare and telling police theyโ€™re racist if they try to correct the ghetto gangboys and we canโ€™t pass laws and fortify our institutions against it)

But they pass the American test with flying colors, sorry.

All i will say is that there was a reason Terence Crawford got a gun pulled on him by a police officer despite being an "american hero" :feelshehe:

As a white guy idfk if I should be a fan of indian immigration or not. On one hand my status goes higher, on the other hand thereโ€™s more brainless emotionless indian STEMcels to compete with. At least I will always have an advantage over them because Iโ€™m white, but that advantage ceases to exist once Iโ€™m interviewed by an indian manager.

Stop right there. There is no such thing as "European features". There are GENERAL Western Eurasian craniofacial features that overlap throughout Western Eurasia and to a lesser extent Central Asia, North Africa and the Horn of Africa. Turks are not this seperate concept from "Europeans" especially not in relation to "Italians".

Turks are disliked in Germany mainly for their religion and to a lesser extent their darker skin. Armenians aren't disliked in Greece for example whilst Turks are despite all three groups largely being largely indistinguishable using sight alone. Armenians are liked because Armenians have a unique cultural and religious link with Greece. Turks are disliked because of their religion. It isn't "morphology" that causes Greeks to seethe at Turks or they'd have to seethe at themselves and Armenians.

I am an expert here. Grew up, live around them and I also live in a place where itโ€™s not just Mexican but a good mix of Latino ethnicities and nationalities, so I can definitely say.

My verdict: depends on the generation, environment (political orientation, school culture/work environment, social network (more of them = less incentive to integrate), phenotype, ethnicity, and some others.

First gens, 99.99% hell fucking no. Nearly all first gen Latinos canโ€™t speak English despite being there for decades (itโ€™s like they finished 3% of the Duolingo English course and then went to the states). So they speak Spanish at almost all times, and work and surround themselves with people who do as well,

โ€ฆsometimes puts flags (almost always Mexicans among the Latinos) or accessories in public display on their cars. Theyโ€™re nice people, civilized, culturally part European, Christian (but catholic), I like how theyโ€™re family oriented (they have really good familial relationships) and they donโ€™t bother anyone, and some of them are hot (male and female) but thatโ€™s unacceptable and they should be deported for it even if they came here legally.

And if you live in the southern USA (not thr e south but the southern this of the country in general, everything is both written in both English and Spanish for them (almost looks like a bilingual society sometimes) so society bends on their back to disincentivize learning English and making life easier for them, so much so one can get away with not knowing english if there are enough Latinos around (via making their kids translators and doing and going places what are easy for you given your language constraint)
โ€ฆ

Second gens, mostly kind of. Some learn Spanish before English (house environment) and theyโ€™re usually bicultural (two-faced, one in public one in their household)

But most of them do integrate but I think they integrate into this leftist created public school culture and listen to pop music and do pop culture stuff (a decent (30%) amount actually act ghetto, and are usually ethnically Mexicans), with (usually) mild Latino elements that havenโ€™t been removed (the culture is not American enough for me but the culture is American).

A majority of them are (integrated) but according to my standards of integration, theyโ€™re not there (like 80% there) and enough and missing some important elements Anglo-Americans and third gens+ typically have (Anglo-American manners, English only, sense of respect or veterans, prioritization and LOYALTY to the USA, thereโ€™s so much moire but I hope you understand, some core unadulterated American values, etc.)

Some are (non-leftist environment or learned the missing pieces from conservative media), some arenโ€™t (isolation from American society and live entirely in enclaves).

A decent amount of them prioritize their country of ethnicity (the identity), vs the States which is traitorous. Rarely but sometimes they mix Spanish words in their English or speak Spanish outright (second gens btw)

โ€ฆ

Third/fourth gens+, almost always yes.

Phenotypically, they range from Amerind looking to Mediterranean looking (although a small minority may have some Black phenotypic influences (Mullatinos) but it definitely leans more Mediterranean (apparently Latinos in the us theyโ€™re 2/3 European on average)

Who cares about fitting in. I'm with the Chinese and Jewish on that one, stick to your own groups and work on your niches, build alliances and leverage, even if the majority hate your guts they can't do much about it.
