I'd assume they move from basic self-harm to the suicide attempt (in this case). And as cutting is prolly the most common way to self-harm it feels logical to do it the same way (as in the past it did give them pleasure)

but holy fuck dude, i cant handle the thought of wrist cutting. its a really weird thing for me almost certainly my sensory issues but even just thinking about it is bad enough for me. very intolerant, it freakes me out, and a few days ago i was bored and tried to search it up on google holy fuck i cant describe how i felt.
i tried to train myself to be more tolerant by like scratching my wrists with my nail but it just tickles.

if i listen to a song and "slashing wrists" or "slit my wrists" is in the lyrics i fucking bug out bro
