why south of scandinavia is whiter than the very north

like samis and scandis are in the same region yet samis are shorter more darker skinned and have darker features overall whereas southern scandinavians have lighter features, can anyone explain?

Yeah I noticed this too mainly cuz south is more germanic but in other countries it's opposite where north is always whiter
