the only good movies are the original ones which are still overhyped, and the rest of the movies are terrible, I can’t really say for certain about the new ones but since it’s made by Disney it probably sucks, but I’ve seen the prequel ones and those are garbage

to be vague and fairly spoiler free its also related to a corrupt space empire and the main character is a young man who has special powers and ends up hating said empire and joining a rebellion against it which I think inspired star wars but the dune books and movie take a more serious tone and also don't have as many reddit tier characters as star wars or robots or anything like that (it's set in the distant future but most of the combat is man on man with swords)
some cool scenes in the movie as well like this Sardaukar army one
