Meanwhile other men study finance/accounting/Econ or law, go to a big 4 firm as their degree isn’t nearly as hard as medicine/computer science, and then start a high pay anyway while enjoying uni more.

Maybe computer science career salary mogs by a bit but not enough to make me study it compared to the other degrees mentioned

Cos that other stuff is too menial & not challenging enough

this. most people who decide to study medicine or cs do it for legitimate reasons (because they genuinely enjoy the intellectual stimulation)

not everyone only looks for the easiest path when making this decision (majority of people in the disciplines op mentioned)

I wanna practice in Australia . Neonatal care is challenging , but saving babies is worth it.

I really don’t get it. You legit want more stress on your brain and less free time for the same outcome (salary)?

Because you have to be NT/LTN in looks to be able to succeed in business related degrees. You have to constantly suck up to your superiors and invite them over for drinks and shit

as i said, not all people go for the most pragmatic/ambitionless option in life

i only went with law because it had the best +/- ratio for me, that's hardly a virtuous m.o.

being a lawyer is more stressful than being a programmer and pays less if you're not a good businessman

finance/accounting - idk

medicine is hard af and being a doctor sucks too.

do comp sci
