Some people here say the blackpill is going mainstream because more guys are talking about looksmaxxing or dating stats. You aren't seeing it clearly. What’s spreading is surface-level frustration, not the actual blackpill framework. The real conclusions are still ignored, laughed off, or misread as bitterness.

To most people, the blackpill just sounds like water.

"Looks matter."
“Women have more options.”
“Dating is harder now.”

They hear it and go: “Yeah, obviously.”

That’s exactly the point.
They think they already know what you're talking about, so they never actually engage with the full structure.

But the real blackpill isn’t about observations. It’s about what those patterns imply:

- That most men are invisible by default
- That sexual selection is inherently monopolized
- That effort has diminishing returns beyond baseline appearance
- That belief in fairness, personality, or self-improvement is mostly narrative scaffolding

That’s the part that doesn’t go mainstream. Not because it’s complicated, but because it’s not livable.

Most people won’t accept a worldview that:
- Invalidates their past wins
- Offers no upward path
- Undermines their self-worth
- Can't be turned into a success story

They’ll agree with parts of it, then default to:

“But if you’re confident, it doesn’t matter.”
“It’s just about being yourself.”
“Everyone finds someone eventually.”

Why? Because those beliefs keep them functional. The blackpill doesn’t.

It can’t go mainstream because it gives nothing back.

I agree but I’d still want the bp to not be as mainstream as it is rn , because then I can have surgery and get more foids then those who don’t know about the bp. Do you guys think looksmaxxing and Bp are in a decline or gaining popularity?

Sadly it is mainstream but most normies lack the bravery to accept the truth because deep down they know they aren't enough

normies are surface level thinkers, regardless of their level of comprehension, they need instruction. blackpill tells them the truth, but they want solutions, and so far blackpill offers none. because what is the solution to 90% of the population being retarded and ugly? kill themselves? blackpill needs to progress out of the academic environment and consider practical applications in irl

mass acceptance of eugenics as a final solution to the male surplus problem, elimination of most immigration programs, and mass deportations/remigrations of incompatible ugly browns.

these are things that while they might not have immediate quality of life benefits, can be understood by normies to have a long term benefit on their societies. removal of white reproduction suppression fields(predatory jew industries and state subsidization of nigger reproduction at the expense of whites), yes this means telling normies to kill jews

Yep literally had this convo with my friends today, they agree looks matter for men but they won’t accept the fact it’s completely over for sub5’s dating in the west. They understandably think confidence gets u women, but that’s only to gl guys / guys under 20. I mean in a few years, BP will hit men so incredibly hard

Sure they won't understand the implications, you're absolutely right on everything in this thread
but the general idea still spreads, terminology, and these guys start treating sub mtns worse exactly because of the surface understanding

everything becomes worse when plagued by normies, and it's spreading and spreading more online tbh
That means more people will still understand the implications simply because it's exposed to more people

A site like lookism wouldn't even have been known unless, you searched for a specific topic or you were someone who browsed imageboards all day

It just isn't good for more people to know because they will turn this ideology into something that justifies their egotistical worldview and (sometimes) psychopathic behavior which is just a characteristic of normies

There's always some upside to spreading awareness of unjust dynamics, like with racism. Once something enters public consciousness, even if misunderstood by most, there will still be a fraction who genuinely get it and begin to see others' struggles more clearly.

Sure, it also feeds egotism, people will use it to rationalize selfish or psychopathic behavior. But some will come to understand why certain people are isolated, why they get dismissed or bullied.

but the number of people who will use it to rationalize behavior would inevitably be larger. Whether this is positive or not, to have the small fraction of those people who start to actually understand the implications, I think that's subjective

just saw your post to rep ratio, and it all makes sense, hq user
