Happens with all social media tbh. Same with twitter. Notice they added view count and started to “suggest” other tweeters on the timeline. The pretense was to fight misinformation, but essentially its the same tactics used across the board. Same reason youtube has likes but no dislikes now. The algorithm is always changed from a decentralized nature to sponsored. So the winners and the voices can all be picked or easily manipulated by varying situations to fit their agenda.
