There is a reason the west has so much animosity and hatred towards china. You see the primary concept that holds the west together is the belief in the superiority of its values. If another nation with different values surpasses the west then this creates tangible evidence that the superiority of western values is not an absolute truth. This could cause a type of cultural collapse which would be far deeper and more damaging then any revolution or regime change that could happen in the east. You cant rebuild a society when the very logic it is supposed to built off of is shown to be a contradiction. This is why the west hates china so much.

Even if china was 10 times as rich as the west, western values would be seen as better.

If china was 10 times as rich as the US and the average chinese citizen had an objectively better quality of life (lower relative cost of living, better job security, better healthcare, lower poverty rate and statistically better sense of well being) America would completely collapse in a year.
