why they use metformin for increase sensitivity instead of insulin injections?

gh users in here always use metformin but not insulin every body builder use insulin for 4+iu gh.
are there any science based shit or they just fear insulin?

insulin can kill you if you're not careful, I'd take metformin before id consider insulin
