Why choose dut over fin + CB-03-01 topical? Well that is a great questions that I will answer for you as I have some free time today

Some context
I made a thread where I explain how to prevent aging on test c 400mg, and this user provided a great question for me to answer “I know that .org heavily pushes dutasteride usage, and while DHT is useless, taking dut will completely tank allopregnenolone as the 5-AR(type I isoenzyme) is the rate limiting step in the synthesis pathway. A better route would be fin .5mg + daily CB-03-01 topical.” I remember hearing one of my friends talk about this a while back which is why I researched after hopping off vc with him. Credit to @coolman985 for me even taking my time to look into it.
Possible claims
- Fin spares allopregnanolone because it doesn't hit type 1 5ar
- Dut tanks/rapes allopregnanolone through type 1 inhibition
- Fin .5mg + CB-03-01 topical mogs dut
What is allopregnanolone
In short its a neuro roid, its synthesized in the body from the hormone progesterone. It's produced in the brain, adrenal gland, and reproductive organs, and acts directly on the central nervous system.
Refuting the claims
Claim 1:
Im not even going to mention my point of view, im literally just going to directly quote studies showing it literally hits allopregnanolone. Here read up nga “12 patients treated with finasteride 1 mg for four months, revealing a gradual decrease in DHT and other neuroactive steroids known to modulate the inhibitory GABA-A receptors, including allopregnanolone.” This shows that fin in fact decreases allopregnanolone.
Where the info is from:
don't forget to insert the doc (I was able to add the doc but I can't insert it in a specific location so look at the very bottom)
Claim 2:
First off before I even show the studies, you have to understand when you are on test or high level of androgens your allopregnanolone is going to rise significantly as well. Dut does not crash your allopregnanolone; it just prevents spike and flattens it. So instead of it just fluctuating you get the same levels throughout.
As you can see from the graph below this was the measurement the study used to dictate whether “Plasma allopregnanolone levels“ increased/reduced. The higher the score the more allopregnanolone levels increased and vias versa the lower the more they dropped. As you can see in the means the difference wasn't even that large and this is in natty women taking 2.5 mg daily dude. A male on test will significantly produce way more allopregnanolone.

Claim 3:
Well before we start this lets define what fin and topical CB-03-01 work. First of CB-03-01 blocks dht at the receptor but it does not reduce dht production. As for fin, it selectively inhibits type two 5 alpha reductase.
Why is this .5mg dut with topical l CB-03-01 not better than dut?
Well my dear org user, at .5 mg fin is so shit and only about 65 % of the dht production. Keep in mind this is in natties lol. As for the topical its not enough as your on supraphysiological amounts of anadrogens and only on fin.
Now why would u choose fin over dut when the allopregnanolone reduction is only a flattening of spikes instead of it tanking, which means stable allopregnanolone. Even at 2.5mg in natty foods it didnt crash their allopregnanolone now imagen in a nga running high amount of androgens.
Additionally, Dut flattens allopregnanolone and fin spikes and drops its over and over again. Why that is? Well its its mechanism of action for fin. Fin partially inhibits type two only so it keeps type 1 running, meaning an inconsistent partial blockage. Since Dut blocks both it flattens it and is constant. Why is the fluctuations bad? Well it makes the GABA A receptors try to compensate and in the end its creates a destabilized environment in your brain. This will causes symptoms like severe anxiety or even seizures. To simplify it the spikes are terrible for your brain and your GABA receptors don't like it.
Conclusion:
Choose the more effective compound dut as it covers up to 90 percent reduction in dht as it targets type 1 and 2 alpha reductase It also isn't bad for your allopregnanolone as people would make it seem to be.
Conclusion/ TDLR
Dut is better than fin and only flattens allopregnanolone in comparison Fin literally creates spikes in your allopregnanolone so its constantly drop and skyrocketing over and over again. Dut also blocks 90% of dht as compared to 65% with fin. So choose dut over fin and you can add a topical to the dut instead of fucking shitty fin.
Note:
If you like u can take dut with the topical
