first of all u matter in this world many people love u and respect u.

1. your current life is NOT your entire life

this is probably the biggest thing.

when you're 14, 15, 16, 17 etc your life is changing constantly.

your friends change
your school changes
your personality changes
your interests change
your confidence changes
your circumstances change

you literally havent even met most of the people who are going to matter to you later.

think about yourself 3 years ago.

are you exactly the same person?

probably not lol.

now imagine yourself 3 years from now.

you have no idea who that person is gonna be.

so dont judge your entire future based on how your life looks right now.

2. being behind does NOT mean you're finished

this forum especially can make people think they are competing against everybody 24/7.

someone has better looks
someone has more money
someone has more friends
someone gets more attention
someone has a girlfriend
someone is better at sports
someone has better grades

and then your brain goes:

"well im finished"

no.

you're comparing your behind-the-scenes to someone else's highlights.

you also dont know what happens in that person's life when they close their phone.

and even if someone genuinely is ahead of you at something, who cares?

life isn't a race where everyone has to reach the same checkpoint at 17.

people develop at completely different speeds.

3. one rejection isnt your whole romantic life
1786599463354

this one gets taken way too seriously on forums.

you like somebody.

they dont like you back.

it hurts.

obviously it hurts.

but that doesnt mean you're unlovable.

it means that specific person didn't feel the same way.

thats it.

one person cannot represent every person you'll ever meet.

dont let one rejection become:

"nobody will ever like me"

thats your brain turning one event into a prediction about your entire future.

and your brain can be wrong.

very wrong actually.

4. loneliness can lie to you

1786599574153

when you're lonely for long enough, your brain can start convincing you that you're going to be lonely forever.

thats not a fact.

thats a feeling.

and feelings can be extremely convincing.

you might genuinely believe:

"nobody cares about me"

but there might be a friend who would be shocked if they knew you were feeling this way.

there might be a sibling who cares.

a parent.

a teacher.

a cousin.

a teammate.

an online friend.

someone you havent talked to in months.

you dont have to magically become popular either.

sometimes one genuine person is enough to remind you that you're not alone.

5. dont make huge decisions while you're overwhelmed

when emotions are extremely intense, your brain wants everything to be solved immediately.

"i need to fix my life RIGHT NOW"

you dont.

you can wait.

sleep first.

talk to somebody first.

get some distance from whatever happened.

let the emotion come down.

then think about the problem again.

a problem that feels impossible at 2am can look completely different after some sleep and a conversation with someone you trust.
1786599772218

6. your future self deserves a chance
1786599951845

this is the part i really want people to understand.

there is a future version of you that you havent met yet.

maybe he's more confident.

maybe he has real friends.

maybe he found a sport he loves.

maybe he moved somewhere new.

maybe he has a career he actually enjoys.

maybe he met someone who genuinely cares about him.

maybe he looks back at the period you're currently going through and thinks:

"holy shit, i almost gave up during THAT part?"

you don't know.

and thats the point.

you cannot know what good things are still ahead of you.

so give yourself the chance to find out.

You Matter

I know sometimes it can feel like nobody would notice if you disappeared. When life gets really difficult, your mind can convince you that you're worthless, that nothing will change, and that you're just a burden. But those thoughts aren't facts.

You matter even when you don't feel useful. You matter when you're struggling, when you've failed, when you're lonely, and when you don't know what you're doing with your life. Your value isn't decided by your looks, grades, money, popularity, relationships, or what some random person on the internet thinks about you.

There are people you haven't met yet who could become incredibly important to you. There are experiences you haven't had, places you haven't seen, friendships you haven't made, and moments you haven't even imagined yet.

You don't need to have your whole life figured out right now. Just stay. Take things one day at a time, talk to somebody you trust, and give yourself the chance to see what happens next.

Whatever you're going through, you don't have to handle it alone.

You matter. Your life matters. And your story isn't finished yet.
