2018 looked really forced and bad overall, but it wasnt that bad its just bc the people that used to watch the earlier youtube rewinds grew up and thought that it was childish (in fact, they just grew out of it and missed the references)
2019 was literally EFFORTLESS and deserves 10x as much hate as the 2018 one they hyped it up like none other and then released a fucking like top 10 videos with the most likes and looked like it was made in capcut by an autistic 11yo charli damelio edits account. After that apparently multibillionaire company cant afford a 25 minute video with decent production anymore (they pay content creators less and generate maybe 3 times more than back then but these fucking jews yk)
