Men and women have completely different relationships with religion. (Smarter) men mostly believe with a grain of salt, and use it as a motivator. Women believe 100% and mostly out of fear of punishment.

Religions promise afterlife paradises, gods that made the universe and tales without proof. It has to do with faith.

If you become a dogma sheep from ideologies, that's on you, not the ideology itself. Ideologies are based on truths. Religion asks you to believe in the dogma.

Ideologies (especially the more extreme ones) promise paradise on earth.
