Why would a man get a FEMALE dog and why would a foid get a MALE DOG?

Yea im not tryna sound low iq and anecdotal I was just ignorant that they do. But yea i dont understand how they can piss on walls lol they sit. Males genuinly lift their leg and pis on the sides of trees so as a puppy the wall is the same.

i dont regret only having females
if i remember correctly they were generally more chill than males too but it has been long since i looked into dog behavior
