Why you can't have a good frame without gymaxxing

You often hear those motherfuckers who claim that "your frame is all about bones" and "you shouldn't gymaxxed because it's all about your clavicle lenght anyway".
I will prove in this thread why that statement is simply false
The key concept to understand is : biacromial width vs bideltoid width

BIACROMIAL WIDTH : The horizontal bone-to-bone distance between the lateral borders of the two acromion processes.

This is the bone foundation.
the average biacromial width is roughly 17 inches
However the 99th percentile is approximately 19 inches which is not a lot.
So even assuming you had top 1% clavicle lenght, you would still not be wide without muscles
bideltoid width : the maximum horizontal distance across the outermost edges of the deltoid muscles

This is the only thing that matters when it comes to having that broad frame.
The average is roughly 20inches
The top 99th percentile is 24 to 25 inches which is literally impossible to achieve without a solid amount of muscles

So for all the copemaxxers who think that you can get away with being a twink because you have wide clavicles, in most scenarios, you would still be framemogged to hell by a dude with average clavicle length but who's jacked.

This looks fine to me. much less muscle than me as well but it doesn’t matter because of how elongated everything is. The proportions are great.

Put this amount of muscle on Barrett’s frame n insertions (which btw if ur not new to all this insertions = ribcage position and shape from breathing and posture) and ur gonna be set. You don’t need Jeff seid mass and imo it doesn’t even look that great.

The prerequisite to all that is that ur around 6’1, if ur shorter it’s probably better to gymcel unfortunately. It’s a cope though.

You are right, but for most people it’s also the hip width which is another factor and in most cases people with wider hips have smaller clavicles in proportion and other way around. As DHT/androgens inhibit waist growth and Estrogens inhibit clavicle growth. So the difference is a little bit bigger than only the clavicle length. Still muscle insertions are also a big player.
