Choosing: active selection
Humans create relationships by consistent exposure that's what people refer to as personality, its just how they rationalize others behaviour during the prolonged exposure to create a framework to interact, that as we know is done by archetypes and those are just framework "packets" based on observation of past behavior(and its association with pheno genetic traits)in an effort to simulate yours, more specifically to predict your behavior so that they can regulate their actions(predictability means comfort, that's why idealistic wars exist in the first place), so they are passive to you, and you are passive to them. By logical extension every action, theirs or yours, is a reaction given from the past.
Thinking is just interacting with yourself and it has two components: your personal identity(aka personality)and (maybe) logic. Logic is simply the set of all simulations(past behaviour), personal and physical(as in observational laws of physics). Your personal identity is how people categorized you. By thinking you never made a choice in your life.

Just goes to show how pseudo-predeterministic our lives are. I say pseudo because which event happens is still somewhat probabilistic so saying totally would be wrong, but when they happen you are passive.
