Heading into junior year I was a random acnecel ltn with no friends in any of the classes I had. I figured the best way then, was to jestermaxx to make new friends in the new classes. It was all going well at first until the jokes I made slowly started turning into me being the joke. Everyday niggas across my classes would be trying to make me mad or make fun of me calling me some stupid nickname. Heading into semester 2 I ascended a lot and decided I didn’t want to jester anymore, but they wouldn’t leave my past persona alone. Even with my new nonchalant personality in semester 2 everyone kept trying to make me the joke of everything like in semester 1. They never gave it up.
I now understand though that this wasn’t there fault it was completely mine. I jestermaxxed too much to where I turned into the joke and everyone lost respect for me. The jokes never stopped following me even after I had made a complete 180 as a person. Yes I made a lot of new friends in the process but at what cost? There were a lot of cons to jestermaxxing. Too much to be worth it.
Heading into senior year I once again have new classes with some people i’m not very familiar with. Instead of jestermaxxing I just made new friends being social and confident, and all of my new friends i’ve made this year respect me. I haven’t been the butt of the joke ever so far. In theory this could’ve happened last year as well, but I fucked that opportunity up. I never had to jestermaxx to make friends. It was just a mask I used because deep down I wasn’t confident, so I tried to show great confidence (jestermaxxing) to hide the fact I had none.
TLDR: NEVER JESTERMAXX TO MAKE FRIENDS OR GAIN ATTENTION.
Edit: The exception to jestermaxxing to gain attention is social media, but never in school where you’re met by unavoidable people. You can ignore everything online but when you see people everyday in person they’ll make your life hell. It’s like if clav had to go to school and be met by lm/bp jokes all day everyday by the same people, and he couldn’t avoid it (he just dnrs hate and fucks bitches.)
