Fucking shit way of measuring your progress, especially when it comes to leanmax.
You could’ve lost fat, but the scale goes up because of water weight, or you didn’t take a piss or a shit.
Or if you diet is shit you lose muscle mass.
Muh “I lost 12lbs in a week”
Who gives a fuck. How much water and how much muscle. Realistically no more than 2kg (4.4lbs) of fat was lost in a week if you did a hella extreme deficit. So you lost 8lbs of muscle and water. Congrats bro.
It’s also a complete mind fuck knowing you stick in your calories and see the scale go up. You know you’re in a deficit but you question it, and lower calories even more.
TLDR: Just look in the mirror, the scale means fuck all. Throw it out your bathroom window.
