What is IQ and what is Mensa
Whilst researching this for this thread i found out that Mensa means table in latin, their name is used as symbolism, They view themselves as open to anyone regardless of backround, race, class, creed or politics. Nether the less you need to have an IQ of 160 to join them . From what I've gathered the people on Mensa define IQ as such. It should be noted Mensa is a society known for its IQ test not for taking and making them, they do other things such as write in their journal.

Now lets move on too why i think you shouldn't take it, i have an alternative tests to take as well as a seller. That will be at the very end.
Why you shouldn't take up the test
Mensas themselves say the IQ challenge is for practice/entertainment. Note this refers to the free test they offer on their website and not the paid one. Nether the less i took the test and started dicking around. I than remembered that i had this test on clicked on it and ran out of time
i did 5 questions out of the 35. They had given me a score of under 100 which is good . I had barely touched the test so this shows it isnt used to inflate your ego so its trustworthy, i will go back to critizing it as i didnt want this to be incredibly baised towards not taking it. Onwards lads we shall critique the paid version now. The paid version is not a good profile of yourself and is pointless, if you dont know what you're doing. Lets prove my point shall we ?
Lets say Amy and Jasper both have an IQ of 132, they both have taken the test . Jasper has made a series of bad choices in his life and is heavily impulsive while having a IQ 132 he rarely uses his brain or puts it to work. When Jasp recieved his IQ, he was simply joyous. Once recieved he felt his IQ validated his bad choices and henceforth carried on his dogshit choices. We can say Amy is the opposite of Jasper, once received she simply put it aside, because she knew she was intelligent which made the number more over pointless. If the gift one can get from a test is figuring out your wrongs. We arent static, we can change. If we want an IQ test that can aid in our improvement we'd want one that shows our faults as well as our flaws. I'll provide another example, i will continue to use Jasper and Amy although i'll shorten their names to J and A to make it brief.
Both J and A get an IQ test from two different IQ tests, they both score the same, 132 but on the other test it lists their cognitive areas. Im sure even an idiot can see which of these tests are worth taking . Hopefully i've convinced you not to take the test.
Alternative Tests to take
If you want a deep dive into your mind i'd recommend the WAIS5 this test makes up for everything the other lacks. i'd personally recommend the WAIS5. I'm unsure the rules on saying your discord server or yapping about a seller on discord but i have one for all the books im going to list nether the less Master has yet to fix the rule page so im not gonna risk my account if you want the seller dm here or i'll DM you.
