Too much effort building a deep friendship from ground up. I have a few deep friendships (unfortunately none of the guys live in the city where I currently live) and those started developing when I was a kid. To get to this level of shared experiences is very hard as an adult.

becoming allied/helping each other = symbiotic (win-win)

Yeah true though it takes time effort and trust to build friendships legit point..satisfied me

I was a nerd that didn't like going out and thought people in university would approach me. They didn't approached me because as I said I was ugly as shit and a nerd, so now my social circle is greatly diminished thanks to unchangeable past mistakes.

This ngl. After many "friendships", they all eventually end usually thru ghosting due to being too busy or loss of interests.
