Why’d a cop think I was hiding a knife

Back in the day I was at this shitskin flea market and I was kneeling down because my stomach hurt and I saw a cop and I nodded at him like “what’s up” and he nodded back. Then he came back to me 5 minutes later and said “what’s under your shirt bud?” And I was confused and said “what?” And he said “what are you hiding, just show me,” as he put his hand on his gun slowly

Then my brother had to tell the cop “ohhh I know, you saw you him kneeling down and you thought he had something hidden?” And the cop said yeah and he though I was hiding a 13 inch blade to slit his throat
