Why’s my Glock smell like garlic

In 2017 I brought my gun to work and left it in my backpack but I put a takeaway box of pasta in the same backpack and garlic sauce spilled all over my Glock and got inside the pistol grip.

So today, when I lift the grip up, I still see garlic sauce.
