First dentist wants to extract all 4 wisdow teeth and only then do the bsso

Second dentist wants to do the bsso and if the cut gets into some wisdow teeth then he extracts it

Surgeon told me I had to get some teeth pulled aswell, I was kinda mad about it but its whatever, my bottom wisdom teeth NEED to be extracted although top look like there growing in just fine. First way is the safer option, although I don't like the idea of getting more teeth removed. Second way you still have the option to keep your teeth but I would imagine it would be painful to have him do that. Also are you sure about going for BSSO, send a CT scan of your side. I am trying to get a Inverted L osteotomy instead of BSSO to balance out the facial thirds, since my lower third is abit short, so it will lengthen my ramus and make the lower third appear larger, it is also most commonly used for birdcels.

Tks for the help, i dont know if the name is bsso , im brazilian , here in brazil its called ( cirurgia ortognatica)

Skull mogs mine to Mumbai, I see the slight recession in the chin. Your jaw looks developed too though damn. Yeah you probably just need BSSO to get that advancement, your not really down grown. BSSO + Genioplasty should work wonders, may I ask are you ESL? and what is your race? No offense. :feelskek:

It's not if your getting BSSO, alot of those people who post that shit lie or either are just bloated asf from the removal themself.

Also after further review of your bite, your teeth look like there growing way better in then mine, I suggest you should go with Option 2 if your okay with that, and just let them do the BSSO without removal of your teeth.

On this question specifically,
the literature is conflicting, some say you should extract impacted teeth way before ( at least 6 months before surgery to allow for filling and maturation of the alveolar socket bone) and some say at the same time, read more here : https://sci-hub.se/10.1016/j.ijom.2016.05.003 - https://sci-hub.se/10.1016/s1079-2104(98)90057-9 - https://sci-hub.se/10.1016/j.ijom.2016.02.011 - BSSO tho : https://sci-hub.se/10.1016/j.ijom.2016.02.011 - https://sci-hub.se/10.1053/joms.2002.33114 - https://sci-hub.se/10.1016/s1079-2104(00)80008-6

You'll get good results, I see the maxillary prognathism now, and the advancement you'll need, your jaw is squarish so it will look good for your pheno post bimax, make sure you get the genio aswell.
Thank u so much seriously , here in brazil is hard to find reliable looksmaxing information , imma take all four then , my dentist is planning to break the chin too and advance jt a lil bit, dont know if irs genio

Breaking the chin and advancing is a genio correct! Let me see if google translate works, I'll type this in Portuguese and you respond to me in english. Você receberá BSSO, BSSO é um avanço da mandíbula, e cortar o queixo e movê-lo para frente é uma genioplastia.

would the bone loss from the extractions affect the results ?

same thing applies, higher chance of a bad split with imperfect wisdom teeth

Well so for the best result possible i should just take this shit off
ye they're useless, no point holding on to them, you can try your luck tho, it's your choice :lul:

do you just go through the literature? Is this how you harvest your great knowledge about surgery? Is there a YouTube channel that you watch or something? Are you a med student? I need answers bhai. I bought the cathlite watch like you said and nothing changed .

Olá, como vai?

Planejando fazer uma cirurgia no Brasil também - quem é o seu buco?

Você deve entrar nos grupos do Facebook de cirurgia ortognática para verificar se o seu médico é mencionado, bom ou ruim.
