wide orbital bones/temples contribute to a less prominent looking zygo from the side

i'll use vito basso as an example,vito has narrow temples as all of you know

this make his cheekbones stick out more relative to his temple region which creates this ball like protrusion from the side

now let's take a look at ramirez who has average projection

you can clearly see that there isn't really that ball shape just the line from his chin to the zygomatic arch

same thing with opry

just something i kind wanted to point out, this also effects the 3/4 profile a bit making the ogee curve seem kinda less prominent
