This forum praises long ramus.
But most times long ramus = shorter projection of the mandible.

Wide V shaped jaw is kinda the best jawline style =
very Wide gonions at mouth level, ofc not higher but not lower + massive horizontal chin.
IMO This Combo is one of the best a man can have.

one good exemple is wenthworth miller :

!!But i'm not talking about the weak V shapes jaw like ryan gosling = high angles but narrow bigonal + downgrown/oblique chin

It just gives you a different look, a good lower third can come in different shapes since there's basically almost no one with a fully ideal everything, what matters a lot is wide gonions that are flared, your jaw isn't recessed, and you have a decent gonial angle to get a good harmonizing chin

Yes ofc, jaw shape depends of all others features escpecially bimax projection.

btw wide gonions are always flared.
Guys with wide jaws with less than 12/15 bf% always looks good.

Yet in almost everyone, the ideal is Gonial angle = Mouth level, no higher (female) or lower (box shaped) + horizontal chin

give your toughts guys about this idea

The term you’re looking for is down grown jaw. And forum consensus on that is that it’s repulsive

Absolutly not, you didn't read at all..
I explained that angles should be mouth level no higher or lower than than + HORIZONTAL CHIN.
just like Wenthworth miller

Downgrown is like ryan gosling = angle higher than mouth + OBLIQUE chin

It’s why the gonial angle shouldn’t be too low. A bit of steepness gives a V shaped effect.

It’s not high gonions. The ramus should still be long but the jaw body should just be genetically steep to create a taller chin.

you can't isolate the jaw.
That is the mistake everybody seems to make here.
First you gotta have good bimax projection, then equal 3 stages of the face.

Only then, you place gonion at mouth level + horizontal chin.
the steepness between gonions and chin depends in fact of your 3 third of the face ratio.

Long ramus looks good only if you have all the features that i said here.
if not, long ramus can easily be boxed shaped, or kill the face projection.

it's definitly the most beautiful jaw shape, it's even the golden mask ratio
