(WIDER FACE SURGERY EXISTS!) How did Ape101 make his face so much wider?

Was it 6mm zygo implants on each side? Giant himself has said that it would be hard to make that look natural so i'm not sure if thats the answer... Or was it something about the OBO? (I thought OBO just makes your eyes further apart though? I don't see how it'd make your zygos 12mm wider.)

Please someone let me know because i need to ascend my narrow face and skull. I have a very wide IPD for my face/skull. i just need to widen the rest of my face... if i had a 12mm wider face I would ascend HARD.

Giant himself says 5mm on each side is risky for looking uncanny. 6 is crazy… are we sure it was the zygo implants that made his face wider…?

after reading giant’s thread on his first obo + tripod from late 2024, i think the OBO operation itself did much of the widening (about 8mm or so) and then zygo implants added another 4…

I've seen the actual before and afters of this case (99% sure), resulted in a weird effect on the side of the eye where the skin got pulled too much and there was a noticeable step-off between the side of the eyeballs and the actual eyelid skin, like it was floating. Didn't look great, but I assume there's a surgery out there to fix that. Very curious to see how the guy is looking now.

It’s a very experimental procedure so this guy was basically the guinea pig, i hope he’s happy with his choice tho.

There is also highly visible scarring either side of his eyes. I honestly feel for the guy, he cucked himself and looked so much better before. Giant does say the photos were taken not long after the procedure and he hadn't healed but I don't know how much healing can solve that

It was 4 mm of widening through ostoeotmies plus a few mm of widening through implants on top of that.

Additional unaccounted for mm is probably due to body composition change.
