Nothing will happen

The recession can be fixed by orthodontics which is what ur orthodontist is probably doing. Stop listening to these incels when there's professionals

Do you think you're smarter than orthodontists?
You didn't even elaborate... they are impacted teeth, they must be removed.

he didnt provide much context it could just be a classic preventative move by a dentist that does this shit routinely to get paid - and its a fact that bone resorption does occur on some level when wisdom teeth are removed

The bone resorption is minimal. At this age, additionally, he can regain the bone back. It's called REsorption for a reason.
Most likely, they remove the teeth to deal with dental crowding. But, impacted teeth are always removed. They can also cause bone resorption, malocclusion, and mostly permanent

depending on his age and whether or not its a preventative or a reactionary procedure he could consider mse/fme + msdo to fix crowding and potentially create space for wisdom teeth thats what i was looking at doing myself but of course its case by case and context is missing here

MSE isnt good for everyone, especially with naturally wide palates. The self ligating braces exist for this reason, so, unless you are 9 and can get RPE, or have a super narrow palate, you dont need it.

Additionally we can assume he is still in development. Right OP?
Since most orthodontics are effective during this time period... It's his fault if he didnt get it removed early.

16 y and I am have consulted with my ortho to get a mse due to a 30mm pallet and they will be treating it as a class 2 pattern for my situation.
