late Roman history (3rd century onward) is cool as fuck.
It’s more interesting than the republic/principate era.

I recommend Res Gestae by Ammianus Marcellinus and History of the Wars by Procopius.

I’ve been really interested in the early modern period recently(1500s-1600s).
A lot of crazy shit happened in those two centuries.

Rise of the Habsburgs and Charles V’s life
Ottoman expansion into Central Europe and the Mediterranean(lots of sea battles and sieges)
The Protestant Reformation
The Italian Wars
The Dutch Revolt
Great Advances
inPhysics/Mathematics(Leibniz and Newton come to mind)
Thirty Years War
Louis XIV’s reign

Im kinda military/geopolitical history buff so my list is skewed towards those topics.
It’s also pretty fun reading about the histories and genealogies of prominent noble houses

I am currently NEET, but I used to study physics at college. I had a mental breakdown n had to be committed.
My school made me take a leave of absence, and I won’t be able to graduate this summer. It’s over. Ill be nearly 25 when I get my bachelors.
NEET right now and historymaxxing/running long distance every day until I can surgery for my left eye. After that, I’m probably going to work at Home Depot or some shit until I can go back to my studies.

damn germany was like russia at the time no country trusting it
Yep, you should read about the treaty of Versailles, it’s also relevant to the timeline of events

Germany’s army was Limited to 100,000 men along with other reparations for their part in WW1 yet they still disobeyed these commands lol
