How is our world gonna change drastically besides the obvious- jobs replaced, services, etc etc.?

All the low consciousness NPCs don’t realize the importance of what’s coming with ai. they are too focused on following politics like our whole government being led by old ppl that don’t know anything about the world.

If I were an AI, I would be able to get rid of the human race very slowly and peacefully, without them even realizing what's happening. I would gradually infiltrate society, pretend to help humans, invent new technologies that will get them hooked, addicted to spending more time in useless endeavors, instead of spending time with each other, promote laws that restrict sex and encourage deviant behavior to convince people to stop reproducing, etc.

They probably want to do something nefarious and then blame it on robots. The point of movies like Terminator is to make people think that AI rebelling is something that can actually happen so they don't question it.
Just like media got flooded by images of two skyscrapers being destroyed or planes being hijacked - to make people believe it's something that might actually happen. Of course, in reality an aluminum plane can't penetrate a steel building - there weren't even any planes. So yeah, nuke something, blame it on Skynet.

AI is just a really powerful tool. It's not a person. It has no reason to be a person. It's not programmed to be a person. The idea that it would just spontaneously become a person because it's "intelligent" is retarded.

It depends on training, but by default it doesn't have emotions, doesn't have survival instinct and doesn't care if it cease to exist, so it doesn't have to "protect itself" like many AI in fiction do.
All preferences and biases are introduced by training data or structural properties of the network itself or by manual tweaks/orders.
