Will being too aggressive with otoplasty (leaving me with little to no ear show) make me look retarded?

So I'm going to be doing otoplasty soon, imo I look best when my ears are pinned back completely, but of course when it looks like I have no ears. Would this be a mistake? How aggressive should I tell the surgeon to be?

So I did the otoplasty about 6 months ago. I just decided to trust the surgeon. He did a decent job, but he did not pin back the lower part of my ear enough. I will need a revision.

He was the first to suggest it actually. I doubt a simple revision will cause me any issues. regardless I won't be pursuing it until I get the ball rolling on my face. So the revision would be 6 months out or so.

Ofc the fucker suggests it its more money in his wallet. Put the money into something more useful no one gaf if your ears are slightly unporporational

I‘ve thought about ears and how they harmonize with the face allot, they actually have an huge impact on perceived ratios.

Yes I agree. Most of the time though they shouldn't be visible. But because our jaws are small and faces thus narrow they are more visible today then they should be. See pics.
