my bimax is a lefort 1 but in theory since the maxilla supports the entire front part of the skull, wouldn’t it help infra recession slightly?

no bimax only moves the bottom of your maxilla

Depends really with what the Surgeon plans to do, but generally speaking no. Your choices for Infra Recession is basically

- Toy around with the risks of Lefort II, Same procedure and timing, less cost than Bimaxx + Fatgrafts or Implants
- Or spend a few extra bucks, remove the risk of Lef II, and get Fatgrafts (Cheap)

I generally never recommend Lefort II because its risk profile is significantly higher than Lef I, But some people want to finish the Job all at once, and Lefort II helps with that.

IPD for sure, but not infras, Infras are affected via advancement / protraction.

damn alright. looks like i’m stuck with bug eyes for a while😞. can’t get implants cuz of my age

you fucking lucky bastard, I cant even get BAMP, and my doctor isnt allowing me anything other than braces and elastics. fuck.
dude i’m sure your not a sub bug creature like i am. i’ve only had 3 talking stages in my life. all were last year. other than that i have nothing going for me except good frame and muscular

yes bimax can affect under eye area but not directly through the bone structure. If your doing ccw movements it can affect how your soft tissues sit and slightly reduce scleral show.If u have severe infraorbital recession u still might need implants tho
