Will bimax/trimax + Orthodintics get me to HTN?

My ortho wanted to extract my tooth bc of unfixable malocclusion, but that was kind of the last thing I would ever want to do. Did some digging, turns out that in my country if you have malocclusion that is unfixable with braces (one side of my upper jaw is shorter than the other) the insurance literally covers a bimax (maybe even trimax but that depends on if your chin is asymmetrical). So I'm gonna try my hardest to convince my parents to let me get one.

My question is, how much will it ascend me? Can I become HTN? Or mtn at best.
Reason I'm asking is because I'm not that good at rating myself objectively.

Some reference photos of what I look like rn (got rated mltn):

could ascend to mtn if done right, the issue with orthos is that they do it for your teeth rather than projection and appearance so you might not get the results you hope for

@IrishSlayer1483 thx for the tip btw

I think htn is possible if done correctly. Since your insurance covers, make sure to look for a surgeon who also cares about aesthetics and avoid bluepilled surgeons who minimize movements because all they care about is functionality. From what ive read, you have better luck with surgeons who are also plastic/aesthetic surgeons

My mom is tyranizing the process rn ill be lucky if i even get it at all. Will do my utter best though but I'm afraid that if i even mention the word plastic she will probably end my life. How do i find these surgeons tho

If your insurance covers, theres likely a medical reason, so you could use that to convince your mother. as for the surgeons, look for larger aesthetics clinics that focus on the face, they usually have an orthognathic specialist surgeon because the jaw is so important for facial aesthetics. Or you could also try university clinics, from what Ive heard, surgeons there are often more willing to make bigger movements for better aesthetics.

In some countries, there is also a special extra title for plastic surgeons thats legally protected, something along the lines of "dr for plastic aesthetic surgery". ofc, the title alone isnt evidence theyre not bluepilled, treat it more as a hint that they might understand your aesthetic concerns

No it wont, maybe mtn acc to forum standards. But well enough to live q decent life
