Will braces and elastics pull my maxilla back making me ‘more’ recessed?

If so, how to fix?

I need braces before bimax and correct a deep bite.Malocclusion class II.

No elastics can only pull very sligjtly which is considered insignificant

If your getting bimax i wouldn’t worry about it

Yeah it would increase your nasolabial angle
 
O hell na, it depends on what kind of elastics. If your ortho is dealing with an overbite then I can imagine yes

Yeah i said that i had an deep overbite
