if ur teeth are fucked, get braces. not really much to do if ur palate has issues with teeth alignment. you probably wont end up recessed.

braces by themselves may damage you, but that severe overbite is likely because of a recessed mandible and the ortho is going to conduct 'camouflage orthodontics' which has a high probability of raping your side profile, especially if teeth are removed or retracted, unless you receive an appliance which will modify the growth of the mandible
