I am in a confusing situation

I am in the process of trying to get lefort 1, I need more chin/maxilla projection.

My front view is Good my face is wide enough but my gonial is High. If the doctor performed ccr would that make my face shorter from the front ?

Should I just Refuse the ccr if it would make my face shorter!!! I feel I would still look good after surgery, It would still be an improvement.

I would also be getting orbital rim implant after that, then I'm done with looksmaxing.

Lefort I just indicates where the bone is cut. It can make the midface appear longer or shorter depending on how it is done. No one here can answer that, only the surgeon can.

consult a maxillofacial surgeon
no one on this site really knows because there's been very few people who got lf1 here

Is lefort 2/lefort 1 quadrangular CCW possible? Would be ideal imo

I do wonder the same thing though, just dont see any point in standard bimax if my nose stays where it is

Theoretically if the maxilla is rotated counter-clockwise the face should appear shorter from the front. Hold an object parallel to your eyes and then rotate it upwards. The vertical projection decreases.

It wouldn't look good if you just move the maxilla forward you will look bloated. you need to move everything maxilla nose bite and chin to look Good.

If you have normale bite and teeth:
-Doing a bimax will make your face longer because of the BSSO and you will have gummy smile
-Doing bimax with an impaction of the maxilla (ccw) will make no change to your frontal view (maybe face more youththoul becausr of skin stretching)
-If you do too much of an impaction yes u can lower ur mide face but when you smile your bottom teeth will not fully show

ccw can reduce philtrum becausr maxilla go up but i think that advancing it make it longer because maxilla go straight and noone have perfect forward growth so its little bit downturn
Its just logic for me
