will covering my head and hair while out in the sun prevent my hair from getting lighter and weaker?

Yes, why wouldnt it. If you burn your hair they easily brake and feel dry as fuck. I always wear a hat when going to tan

Thanks
I dyed my hair darker a few months ago so i was just worried about it getting lighter in color

No. Your hair follicles require sunlight. Lack of sunlight can accelerate hairloss and wearing caps or hats excessively can clog your pores and increase inflammation on your scalp.

It‘s the truth. Lock yourself in a basement for 10 years and your hair will lose its color and fall out.
What about the myths about the sun aging you ? I read that eating a high protein and fat diet can protect your skin against harmful uva more than any sunscreen on the market

Too much UV light will increase oxidative stress and can indeed accelerate aging. But a lack is just as harmful. Conventional sunscreen is carcinogenic and will mitigate the positive effects of sunlight. I haven‘t used sunscreen since I was a child and I never get sunburnt and look younger than my age. Just listen to your body and gradually increase your sun exposure. Stop when it gets uncomfortable. Sunlight is also essential for mitochondrial function, ATP production and your circardian rhythm.

Make a claim in 2 seconds and demand a 10 year effort for it to be disproven

My pubes have never seen the sunlight and are as strong as ever
