Will having gotten my wisdom teeth removed recess me?

Seems like theres a bunch of mixed opinions. The majority that I see says that if it is coming in at an angle and was going to impact your other teeth you should remove it (which is what i did) I have sort of a childish jaw and Im hoping i can get this shit to grow. Wondering if my jaw can still grow after it. On other good news, the guy said my maxilla wasn't recessed
