I am 5'5.75 and I'm concerned I won't grow any much more.

Might be over ngl, considering your parents are so short you've probably already hit your genetic limit even if you took some they probably wouldn't change a lot regarding height growth. But I say you might aswell take them you've got nothing to lose either way. Like a desperate last attempt thats what I would do even if its probably not gonna work but its worth a try.
