As long as it looks healthy you should keep it a little longer that you have it now because its a good health indicator. I don't know what the climate is like where you are but you can use some sort of leave in conditioner to keep it hydrated. But idk something messy as for style ig

You don't have control over that so there is no reason to rot here because of it because you won't find anything to fix it. Thats also not short for 14 yo but if it's really bothering you then talk to your parents about it and get your growth plates checked
