I am 17 years old and 178.5cm.My parents are 183 cm and 160cm .Started puberty around 14.Haven't noticed any height difference in the past 3 months.My growth plates are still a bout 90-95 percent open.

nope from what i can tell by your X-ray you will be dead in 2 months

Will bro. I cant understand , how I went from entering puberty a bit late, at 14, to having almost fuesed growth plates at early 17
Could be because of your diet from your childhood. Idk you should ask a doctor

It's not as set in stone as people think plates fuse at different times depending on your genetics. Doctors only check the wrist because those plates are easy to see on X-rays but they're not the only ones.

I broke my foot last November and during the X-rays my doctor mentioned that some plates near my ankle had only recently fused it can't see it properly in this picture because it's phone pic at an angle but yeah he confirmed it. I had a growth spurt, hit 185 cm and then very slow growth after that. I'm 187 cm, 22 years old. So like 2 cm after 18-19. It's not very common tho I was a late bloomer.
