Why would it? ATM India are playing both sides pretty well. If the situation gets worse frm current ww3 now with proxy wars between the major countries I see Europe getting hit worst and Russia can nuke UK without too much damage to other countries (Makes sense to hit USA lapdog first).

Frankly the USA behaviour is most unhinged atm though so I see them as more likely to fire a nuke first if it happens (which I doubt)

The point of war is not to get it over with, it’s to generate business for the military industrial complexes of the world, if they actually fire the nukes then they’ll stop making money. Ukraine and even some of what went on in Syria is making conventional warfare between nuclear powers, in which they wouldn’t use the nukes, seem like it’s on the table.

But Pakistan has an entire nuclear arsenal pointed solely at India, and an avowed and aggressive first strike policy, so at least on paper if India makes a big enough mistake then yes, they get nuked.
