Will Invisalign make me recessed

My dentist was telling me about Invisalign and was worried that my mandible may grow to forward giving me an underbite. He said that the Invisalign and rubber bands will stop my mandible from growing forward. I’m alr a lil recessed I can send pic if needed. Lmk cus I get mixed answers on if Invisalign will help ascension or not. 15btw and teeth not that bad.

the potential problem is the maxilla being pulled back, not the mandible being pulled forward
