It depends on how good your relationship is to begin with.

If it's toxic, they will most likely just get jelous and try to put you down. Especially from the female members.

If it's a utilitarian relationship they will treat you better in accordance to how much you ascended.

If they truly care about you they will like you no matter and probably be happy for you, however if that's the case you probably wouldn't even be on this forum considering the upbringing you would of had.
