I’m trying to not get my premolars removed or any changing in my teeth but if I just get regular braces or a plate in my mouth to correct a singular tooth will it cause anything bad

I have slight maxilla recession with really good forward growth for 14 and I really really don’t want to cause irreversible damage with this stuff
Can anyone provide any useful info about this? I’ll leave my side profile below

I think it prevents recess and encourages forwards growth when you get braces as your teeth are in the correct position.
