Will someone be able to notice that you have grown 3 inches ?

Like my dad saw me ab year ago , when i was 5'8 now am 5'11 .5 , will my dad be proud to see me grown up or he wont notice it . He is gonna see me in a week

Yes a 3 inch height increase is a lot.

Went on google to see if I can find a comparison for you. Guy on left is 5'8 and the other dude is 5'11. Not as big of a difference as someone would expect, but they might notice.
