Will surfmaxxing help me become NT, looksmaxx and statusmaxx?

Just got into surfing and Im enjoying it. Im going every saturday to the beach to practice for one hour and also took swimming lessons on the side to improve my endurance and work in my paddling and etc.

Any advice? Will it help ultimately ascending?

Keeping all things equal, does this really help?
