will taking test e stop close my growth plates?

I heard that taking test during puberty will close your growth plates and just wanted to know if its true.
I am 17 and was planing on starting with 200mg test e per week and than going up to 300mg.
Pls tell me if my growth plates are really gonna close or if ive been lied to

Test will close your growth plates if u dont take the right things to counter it
and you should check if ur growth plates are even open at 17
