Since its stretching the mouth, wouldn’t the lips get thinner from using this? If you smile you stretch your mouth, and your lips become thinner, would this appliance also make your top lips thinner too since it’s using the same type of function?

BTW im asking this cuz I have a thick top lip but a long philtrum, and a narrow mouth, so in theory, using this will make my top lip less bigger, and using lip filler I can regain the thickness, but now the lip filler has shortened my philtrum, high iq i am...

Show us, usually ur just overthinking it and u also shouldn't use mouth appliances at home just do it through ortho no matter if it's BOTB or not
